charlize theron’un seri cinayetler işleyen bir fahişeyi oynadığı film. aileen wuornos’un gerçek hikayesi. theron gösterdiği performansla oscarı sonuna kadar haketmiş. ’’güzelim kadını ne hale getirmişler’’ diye soramadan edemiyor insan. özellikle işkenceye maruz kaldığı sahne gerçekten rahatsız ediciydi. insanı ahlaki anlamda biraz ikilemde bırakan bir film ayrıca. para karşılığı seksin etik dışılığın yanında, hayatını bu yolla kazanan bir kadının uğradığı işkence ve şiddet sahnelerinin etkisiyle, işlediği cinayetleri mübah görmeye başlıyor sanki insan. bir anti kahraman oluveriyor theron. ’’ama sonuçta biri gelip senin vajinana demir parçası soksa, sırtına asit döküp tecavüz etse de kimse ölümü haketmiyor’’ desek ne kadar caydırıcı olur orası tartışılır. ahlak göreceli bir şey sonuçta.
